Click here to visit the Scholastic Clay Target Program websiteThe South Carolina Youth Shooting Foundation was started by a few clay target shooting enthusiasts, who were interested in creating an organization to enable "youth" a better opportunity to enjoy the art of clay target shooting, pistol and rifle shooting. In 2008, the SCYSF was formed and recognized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In the first year of operation, the SCYSF had 377 different youth participation in Skeet, Trap, and Sporting Clays events. We are in hopes of adding archery, rifle, and pistol shooting in the future. Our goal is to introduce youth to not only enjoy the outdoors, but to learn safety with firearms, accuracy, and to meet other youth from around the state.
